My friend the food writer

When you’re famished for a meal and can’t get one, do the next best thing: read about food. Some would say that’s just pure torture, but it works for  me.

In my case the joy is doubled, because it’s not just an article about food but one that’s been written by my dear friend Ananda. This 20 something married dad was born a foodie.  And when it turned out that he could write too, becoming a food writer was but evident. After months of being a closet writer, he’s now got his own column..that too in The Hindu.

His writing makes you look at food, the most basic ingredients, your kitchen, your home differently.
